Minister to Participate in Wreath-laying Ceremony Commemorating ANZAC Day

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works, will represent Newfoundland and Labrador and participate in a wreath-laying ceremony and gunfire breakfast commemorating the 95th anniversary of Australia and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) Day. The event will take place at the Canadian War Museum, Ottawa beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 25.

ANZAC Day is Australia and New Zealand's most important national day of commemoration. It marks the beginning of the World War One Battle of Gallipoli which involved troops from Australia, New Zealand, Newfoundland and Labrador, the United Kingdom and other allied forces.
