Public Advisory: Some Provincial Historic Sites and Visitor Information Centres Remain Closed

The Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation advises the public that Provincial Historic Sites in Bonavista, Trinity, and Boyd's Cove are closed for the remainder of the day. The Quidi Vidi Battery in St. John's, the Commissariat House in St. John's, Heart's Content Cable Station, and Point Amour Lighthouse in Labrador are open.

The Visitor Information Centre in Whitbourne has reopened, while centres in Argentia and Clarenville remain closed for the day. All other Provincial Visitor Information Centres in the province (Port aux Basques, Deer Lake Highway, Deer Lake Airport, Notre Dame Junction and St. John's airport) are open.
