Provincial Minor
Basketball Championships
The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball
Association's U17 boys and girls provincial championships are scheduled
for this weekend, April 23-25.
Thirty-eight teams will take part in
events scheduled for Bishops College and Gonzaga in St. John's, Stella
Maris in Trepassey, JM Olds Collegiate in Twillingate, St. Lawrence High
and Corner Brook High.
Play gets under way on Friday afternoon
and will conclude with the championship games Saturday evening or Sunday
afternoon.
