Media Advisory: Minister to Make Recreation Funding Announcement

The Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will be at the Froude Avenue Community Centre in St. John's on Monday, April 12, to announce the first programs to be funded under the newly-established Seniors Community Recreation Grant Program. Minister French will be joined by Keith Hutchings, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and Community Services, and the Honourable Shawn Skinner, MHA for St. John's Centre. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m.
