Public Advisory: Exercise Caution When Using Forest Access Roads

The Department of Natural Resources advises that some forest access roads in the eastern region have been damaged as a result of Hurricane Igor.

At this time of the year many people are using forest access roads for hunting, berry picking and other activities. The department is assessing the damage and the public is advised to be careful when traveling on these roads.

The department will keep the public informed should it become necessary to close any forest access roads to ensure public safety.
