Media Advisory: Minister Hedderson Views Hurricane
Igor Recovery Efforts on the Burin Peninsula

The Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works and Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Emergency Preparedness, is viewing the progress of Hurricane Igor recovery efforts on the Burin Peninsula today (Tuesday, September 28). Minister Hedderson is accompanied for portions of the visit by the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Education and MHA for the District of Grand Bank; the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture and MHA for the District of Burin-Placentia West; and, Calvin Peach, MHA for the District of Bellevue.

Minister Hedderson will be available to the media today at 2:30 p.m. in Taylor's Bay at the Taylor's Bay Brook Bridge, on Route 220 between Lawn and Grand Bank.
