The news conference to provide
an update regarding the impacts of Hurricane Igor has been rescheduled
for 4:00 p.m. today (Friday, September 24) in the Media Centre, Ground
Floor, Confederation Building, East Block. It had originally been
scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
It will be held by the
Honourable Tom Hedderson, Minister of Transportation and Works and
Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister Responsible for Fire
and Emergency Services. The minister will provide details on the impact
of Hurricane Igor. Minister Hedderson will be joined by officials from
the Departments of Transportation and Works and Municipal Affairs, in
addition to Fire and Emergency Services — Newfoundland and Labrador.
