Northern Strategic Plan Information Session
in Churchill Falls
The Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Labrador Affairs, will be in
Churchill Falls today (Monday, September 20) to hold an information
session on the Northern Strategic Plan (NSP) mid-term report. The
session is scheduled to take place at the Community Centre at 7:30 p.m.
The NSP is a five-year strategy to improve the health and well-being
of Labradorians. The plan had an initial investment of $250 million with
145 commitments. Updated regularly, it is now expected the NSP will see
$587.3 million invested in Labrador, with some 210 commitments.
