Media Advisory: Minister to Host Northern Strategic Plan
Information Session in Labrador West

The Honourable John Hickey, Minister of Labrador Affairs, will hold an information session on the Northern Strategic Plan (NSP) mid-term report in Labrador West, tomorrow (Friday, June 18).

The session is scheduled to take place at Charlie's Restaurant in Labrador City at 8:00 a.m.

The NSP is a five-year plan to improve the health and well-being of all Labradorians through expanding infrastructure, improving the delivery of program and services, and encouraging economic prosperity. The plan had an initial investment of $250 million with 145 commitments. Updated regularly, it is now expected the NSP will see $587.3 million invested in Labrador, with over 210 commitments.
