On July 28, 2010, an investigation by Inland Fish Enforcement officers and Fisheries and Oceans Canada, spanning a number of weeks and involving multiple individuals suspected of widespread illegal salmon netting, resulted in numerous charges. As a result of the operation, officers seized several items, including a quantity of Atlantic salmon.
