The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will bring opening remarks at the Selling to the Public Sector Reverse Trade Show on Monday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m. The reverse trade show will be held at the Holiday Inn in St. John's.

Hosted by the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, in cooperation with the St. John's Board of Trade and Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs, the reverse trade show will include suppliers within the province and buyers of products and services from municipal, provincial, and federal governments, as well as the broader public sector.

The reverse trade show provides suppliers with insight into the scope of products and services purchased by the public sector, as well as a greater understanding of how best to market and sell their products to a multi-billion dollar sector. For procurers from the public sector, it equips them with greater knowledge of the depth of products and services that exist in Newfoundland and Labrador.
