Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at NATI's
Biotechnology Forum
The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of
Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will speak at the opening of
the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Technology Industries' (NATI)
biotechnology forum at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, October 27) at
the Bella Vista, 26 Torbay Road in St. John's.
The forum is designed to showcase local
capabilities to incoming businesses and researchers from the
international life sciences sector and to help establish
partnerships that can lead to new
product development, licensing agreements for intellectual property,
research and development projects and increased export sales.
The forum is part of a larger Pan-Atlantic
inbound biopartnering initiative, facilitated through the International
