Ministers to Announce Funding for Apprenticeship Wage Subsidies
The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister
of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, and the Honourable Darin
King, Minister of Education, will be joined by representatives from the
Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Council of Carpenters, Millwrights
and Allied Workers, the Carpenters Millwright College and the Office to
Advance Women Apprentices to announce details of an investment in
skilled trade wage subsidies for women apprentices.
The announcement will take place tomorrow
(Friday, October 22) at 11:30 a.m. at the Carpenters Millwrights
College, 89 McNamara Drive, Paradise.
