Healthcare Funding
Announcements on Burin Peninsula
The Honourable Jerome Kennedy, Minister of Health and
Community Services, will make three healthcare funding announcements in
the communities of Burin, St. Lawrence and Grand Bank tomorrow
(Wednesday, August 4). Minister Kennedy will be joined by the Honourable
Darin King, MHA for Grand Bank; the Honourable Clyde Jackman, MHA for
Burin-Placentia West; Vickie Kaminski, President and CEO, Eastern
Health; and Michael O'Keefe, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Eastern
Health.
The event in Burin will take place at the Burin
Peninsula Healthcare Centre at 11:30 a.m.
The event in St. Lawrence will take place at the U.S.
Memorial Community Health Centre at 1:45 p.m.
The event in Grand Bank will take place at the Blue
Crest Nursing Home at 3:30 p.m.
