Media Advisory: Minister and WHSCC to Make Announcement
Regarding Fishing Industry Safety

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will be joined by Leslie Galway, CEO of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission, to announce occupational health and safety initiatives in both the harvesting and processing sectors of the Newfoundland and Labrador fishing industry.

The announcement will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, December 7), at 10:30 a.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building.
