Media Advisory: Meetings of the Canadian Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture
Ministers and the Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister

The Canadian Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers and the Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers will meet in St. John's. The meeting will be co-chaired by the Honourable Gail Shea, federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and the Honourable Clyde Jackman, Newfoundland and Labrador's Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Ministers will be available for a media photo opportunity prior to the start of the meeting. A news conference will take place at the conclusion of the meeting. Ministers Shea and Jackman will provide an update on the outcomes of the discussion and participating ministers will be available to respond to questions.

NOTE: All media planning to attend the event are required to pre-register by calling 709-772-7628 before 500 p.m. (Newfoundland time) on November 8. Pre-registered media should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the news conference and will be required to present valid media accreditation with picture identification.
