Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans
The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture,
will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries
and Oceans. The appearance will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45
p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, May 26) at the Immaculate Conception Parish
Hall in Deer Lake.
The committee hearings will address the snow crab industry in
Atlantic Canada and Quebec. The minister will discuss the need to
rationalize the Newfoundland and Labrador fishing industry.
