Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Meetings of
Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will be attending meetings of the Atlantic Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministers in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Minister Jackman will co-host the meetings with the Honourable Gail Shea, federal Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.

The meetings will take place today (Monday, February 15) at the Delta Halifax, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. AST.

While in Halifax, Minister Jackman will also meet with Minister Shea regarding progress with the Memorandum of Understanding with the province's fishing industry and to outline proposals that have been put forward to date by the industry.
