Media Advisory: Minister to Address Royal Canadian
Legion Event in Woody Point
The Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and President of
Treasury Board, will address members and guests of the Royal Canadian
Legion, Branch #45 at a formal dinner to mark the branch's 50th
anniversary. The dinner will take place tomorrow (Saturday, September
18) at 7:00 p.m. at the Legion in Woody Point.
With approximately 170 members, Branch #45 of the Royal Canadian
Legion covers the geographic region from Trout River to Daniel's Harbour
in western Newfoundland. In celebration of its 50th
anniversary, a series of events is planned from September 17 to 21.
