Premier Appoints Director of Communications
The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and
Labrador, today announced the appointment of Glenda Power as the
Director of Communications for the Premier�s Office.
"I am pleased to announce that Glenda Power has been appointed
as the communications director for the Office of the Premier,"
said Premier Dunderdale. "Ms. Power possesses exceptional skills
and professionalism that have been well demonstrated throughout
her tenure with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Her
communications background and senior level experience will
undoubtedly serve her well in this new role."
Ms. Power has successfully served in a communications capacity
with the Departments of Business, Tourism, Culture and
Recreation, and Health and Community Services, and most recently
served as Director of Strategic Communications, Planning and
Priorities with the Communications Branch of Executive Council.
The appointment will take effect immediately.
