Agreement Reached for Burin-Marystown
Community Training and Employment Board
The Honourable Tom Marshall,
Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, announced
today that a tentative agreement has been reached between the
Burin-Marystown Community Training and Employment Board and the
Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private
Employees (NAPE).
�I am very pleased that NAPE and
the employer, the Burin-Marystown Community Training and
Employment Board, have successfully reached a tentative
agreement today,� said Minister Marshall. �We look forward to
NAPE bringing the agreement forward for ratification, which is
expected to happen very shortly.�
The Burin-Marystown Community
Training and Employment Board provides supported employment
services to adults with developmental disabilities to allow
these individuals to participate in meaningful, integrated,
employment within their communities.
