Premier Names Her Chief of Staff

The Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today announced that Brian Taylor will be her Chief of Staff, effective December 6.

�I am very pleased that Mr. Taylor has accepted the position,� said the Premier. �The considerable experience and commitment he brings to his new role from seven years as a dedicated employee in the Office of the Premier will serve him well.�

Mr. Taylor has been an employee of the Office of the Premier since 2003, first as Director of Operations. Since May 2010 he has been Deputy Chief of Staff. Prior to joining the Office of the Premier, he worked for seven years in the office of the Official Opposition. Mr. Taylor has a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts, both in political science, from Memorial University.
