Media Advisory: Lieutenant Governor to Unveil Unique Carving at Government House

His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will officially unveil Taylor's Pole of the North, a unique hand-carved pole depicting icons from Newfoundland and Labrador. The unveiling will take place on Monday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the main entrance to Government House on Military Road.

His Honour will be joined by the Honourable Terry French, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, the artist, Abiel Taylor, and representatives from partner companies; Newfoundland Power, Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro and Bell Aliant.
