Minister Whalen Resumes Duties as Minister of Municipal Affairs

The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today announced that Minister Dianne Whalen has resumed her duties as the Minister of Municipal Affairs and the Minister responsible for Fire and Emergency Services.

"I am delighted to welcome Minister Whalen back as the Minister of Municipal Affairs and the Minister responsible for Fire and Emergency Services,� said Premier Williams. �I look forward to once again working with Minister Whalen and to her continued contribution to the people and the province. I would like to thank Minister Hedderson for his exceptional job as Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs during Minister Whalen�s absence.�
