The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

EXTENSION TO MINISTER�S DECISION DATE:

Corner Brook Pulp & Paper Tire Derived Fuel (TDF) Co-Firing Trial Project
Proponent: Corner Brook Pulp & Paper Ltd. (Reg. 1539)

The minister�s decision date for this undertaking has been extended to January 15, 2011.

UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:|

New Harbour Forage Area (Reg. 1548)
Proponent: Nelson I.D. Williams

The proposed undertaking consists of the clearing of approximately 16 hectares of land to be used to produce forage for sale to the local dairy industry. The site is located approximately one kilometre east of the community of New Harbour and one kilometre west of Route 80. The project is scheduled to commence with land clearing in the spring or fall of 2011 and will be developed over a five year period.

The undertaking was registered on December 9, 2011; the deadline for public comments is January 19, 2011; and the minister�s decision is due by January 22, 2011.
