The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:

Canning�s Cove Big Pond ATV Trail                                                                 (Reg. 1547)
Proponent: Levi Penney

The proponent plans to extend an existing trail by approximately three kilometres to allow access to several remote cabins.　 The trail will be located in the Big Pond area, near Canning�s Cove, Bonavista Bay.　 　A minimum 50 metre buffer will be maintained between the trail and Big Pond. 　Construction is expected to take one week.　

The undertaking was registered on December 7, 2011; the deadline for public comments is January 13, 2011; and the minister�s decision is due by January 21, 2011.
