Minister to Announce Funding for Innovative Research Project
The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister
of Environment and Conservation, will announce funding through the Solid
Waste Management Innovation Program today (Wednesday, July 7) for an
innovative research project.
The event will take place at 2:15 p.m. at
the Captain James Cook Memorial Lookout, Corner Brook.
The Solid Waste Management Innovation
Program, administered by the Multi-Material Stewardship Board (MMSB),
encourages research and development of new or improved technologies,
products, services or processes that support the ongoing implementation
of the Provincial Solid Waste Management Strategy.
