Media Advisory: Minister to Address Youth and Oceans Conference

The Honourable Charlene Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will deliver the opening address at the Youth and Oceans Conference 2010 tomorrow (Friday, February 12).

The event will take place at the Marine Institute, 155 Ridge Road, St. John’s at 9:00 a.m.

More than 150 junior and senior high school students will celebrate the role of youth in marine stewardship in the province. The conference theme is Sustainable Oceans – It’s Now or Never!
