The Honourable Darin King, Minister of
Education, will visit several schools in the Isles of Notre Dame next
week. He will be joined by Derrick Dalley, Parliamentary Secretary to
the Minister of Education and MHA for the Isles of Notre Dame.
On Monday, October 25, Minister King will
visit New World Island Academy at 11:00 a.m., to break ground on the
site of a new $1.2 million extension. Minister King will then tour J.M.
Olds Collegiate beginning at 2:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, October 26, Minister King and Mr.
Dalley will serve breakfast to students at Twillingate Island Elementary
at 8:45 a.m., before touring the school. Minister King will also visit
the Twillingate-New World Island Development Association on Tuesday at
10:45 a.m., one of two new e-learning sites for Adult Basic Education in
the province.
