Media Advisory: Ministers to Sign Agreements
on Official Languages
The Honourable Darin King, Minister of
Education, will join
the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official
Languages, to sign agreements
supporting the provision of French-language teaching
for Newfoundland and Labrador's Francophone community, as well as French
second-language instruction.
The event will take place tomorrow (Wednesday,
August 11) at the école des Grands-Vents, 65 Ridge Road in St. John's,
at 10:00 a.m.
