Media Advisory: Minister Attending Farnborough International Airshow
The Honourable
Ross Wiseman, Minister of Business, will attend the Farnborough
International Airshow, in Farnborough, England, on July 19 and 20.
Minister Wiseman will address Atlantic Canadian
delegates at a reception on July 20.
The Farnborough International Airshow, held
biennially, is one of the world's largest global aviation industry
events. The exhibition will
showcase the latest aerospace
equipment and technology,
with
close to 1,400
exhibitors from over 40 countries.
The most recent airshow in
2008 was a record-breaking year for business transacted, with
approximately $89 billion U.S. in orders announced during the show.
The 61st Farnborough International Airshow takes place
from July 19 to 25.
