Transportation and Works January 7, 2009 Public Advisory: Apollo Ferry Service to Continue for Short Term Travellers and shippers availing of the Apollo ferry service between the communities of St. Barbe and Blanc Sablon are advised that the operating season of the Apollo will continue for at least the next 10 days based on indications of favourable weather conditions and lack of ice in the area. Pending conditions, the schedule will be maintained until January 31, at which time the ship will leave service for annual maintenance.
