Media are invited, by appointment, to preview the exhibition Unrequited Death: Helen Gregory tomorrow (Tuesday, December 1) at The Rooms. Artist Helen Gregory and writer and exhibition curator Lisa Moore will be available to the media by appointment as well. The official exhibition opening and public reception will take place Friday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m.

The work of Helen Gregory ponders the boundaries of transience and permanence, nature and culture. The artist's ongoing investigation of the act of collecting by focusing on organic forms such as skulls, bones, desiccated birds and dead flowers has resulted in a body of work that is simultaneously dramatic, haunting, macabre, beautiful and ostentatious.
