The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

NLBA/Jr. Seahawks Boys� Basketball

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA)/Jr. Seahawks boys� basketball program will hold open tryouts on Sunday, September 20, at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre (NLSC) in St. John�s. The camp is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is open to boys entering grades 7- Level 1.

The coaches will select eight to 12 athletes from each grade level. Sessions will be held for 16 weeks commencing on September 27 and running through until January 17. All sessions will be held at the NLSC on Sunday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. If selected the cost of the program will be $175.00 and will include a ball and Reebok jersey. There will be a $10.00 tryout fee for all participants attending the September 20th tryout camp. Cheques can be made payable to the NLBA.
