Max Burt Invited to National Team
Indoor Men�s Volleyball Camp
The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association
would like to congratulate Max Burt on being named to the Team Canada
Indoor Selection Camp.
Volleyball Canada is pleased to announce the list of
invited athletes for the 2009 Senior Women�s, Senior Men�s and Junior
Men�s National Team Selection Camps.
The purpose of the Senior National Team Program is to
identify, select and train a group of athletes who have the potential,
or have the demonstrated international skill and experience, to
represent Canada at the elite level.
The intention is to select athletes to train at each
of the Team Canada Volleyball Centre�s in Winnipeg and Gatineau over the
summer with each team comprised of a combination of young veterans and
new athletes that possess the potential to lead Canada to berths in the
2010 World Championships, the 2012 Olympic Games in London, as well as
longer term success for the 2013-2016 quadrennial. The 2009 Selection
Camp dates are as follows:
