Sport Newfoundland and Labrador - Provincial Basketball Championships

The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

Provincial Basketball Championships

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will see over 600 participants (46 teams) competing this weekend March 6-8 for the U12 provincial boys and girls championships.

On the east coast St. Matthew�s in St. John�s will host the Boys A while St. Anne�s in Dunville will host the Boys B division. On the girls side it will be Mount Pearl Intermediate hosting the A with St. Francis of Assisi in Outer Cove hosting the B. On the west coast St. Gerard�s will host the boys while C.C. Loughlin will entertain teams competing for the girl�s championship.

Play gets underway on Friday afternoon, and will conclude with the championship games Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.
