Exhibition Media are invited to attend a preview of the exhibition Afghanistan: A Glimpse of War, Wednesday, January 14, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Rooms. The official exhibition opening and public reception will take place Thursday, January, 15 at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Dean Oliver, Director, Research and Exhibitions for the Canadian War Museum, and Anne Chafe, Director of The Rooms Provincial Museum, will be in attendance and available to the media.
Compelling photos, video footage and first-hand accounts of Canada's participation in the war in Afghanistan are the focus of the exhibition, travelling for the first time from the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.
