Natural Resources November 2, 2009 Media Advisory: Career Opportunities Explored at Women in Mining Forum As part of Provincial Mining Week, a Women in Mining forum will be held on Monday, November 2, at the Johnson GEO CENTRE in St. John�s. The forum starts at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free. The forum is aimed at young women interested in careers in the mining industry and will feature a panel discussion and question and answer session with women currently employed with various mining companies.
