Media Advisory: Media Availability
to Open Large-Scale Hydro Forum
The Council of the Federation Forum on Large-Scale
Hydroelectric Development: Aligning Economic and
Environmental Goals will be held in St. John�s tomorrow
(Wednesday, October 21) in Salons B, C and D at the
Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland. The forum is being
co-chaired by the Honourable Kathy Dunderdale, Minister
of Natural Resources, and the Honourable Charlene
Johnson, Minister of Environment and Conservation, and
will focus on large-scale hydro in the context of
addressing climate change.
Media are permitted to attend the opening session from
8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. for the opening remarks by the
co-chairs. This will be followed by a media availability
with the co-chairs in the Ballroom Foyer at 9:00 a.m.
