Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Miawpukek First Nation�s Powwow

The Honourable Patty Pottle, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, will provide remarks during the Miawpukek First Nation�s Powwow taking place July 3-5 in Conne River. Minister Pottle will address the powwow following the Grand Entry, Saturday, July 4, at 1:00 p.m.

This will be the 14th annual powwow for the Miawpukek First Nation. Throughout the event, visitors witness and participate in the sharing of Mi�Kmaq customs and traditions through activities such as traditional dancing and chanting, sacred ceremonies and feasts.
