Ministers Present Funding for Rigolet Shelter, Winter Transportation

Labrador Affairs Minister John Hickey, and Aboriginal Affairs Minister Patty Pottle, present a cheque for $30,000 to Charlotte Wolfrey of the Rigolet Partnership Against Family Violence for the establishment of a shelter. Budget 2009 provides a further $60,000 to help make the shelter a reality. Ministers Pottle and Hickey and Ms. Wolfrey were joined by AngajukKak (mayor) for Rigolet, Daniel Michelin.
