Media Advisory: Ministers to Announce
Funding for Atlantic Canada Venture
Gateway
The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation,
Trade and Rural Development, and the Honourable Peter
MacKay, Minister of National Defence, Minister for the
Atlantic Gateway, and the Minister Responsible for
Newfoundland and Labrador, will announce funding for
Memorial University�s Atlantic Canada Venture Gateway �
formerly Gateway Without Borders � tomorrow (Friday,
October 16).
The announcement will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the
RBC Atrium at Memorial University�s Faculty of Business
Administration in St. John�s.
The Atlantic Canada Venture Gateway supports the
development of investor-ready firms capable of building
strong global markets and partnerships, through coaching
and the provision of necessary specialized support
resources.
