The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister
of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will speak
at the 2nd annual Arctic Shipping North
America Conference tomorrow (Tuesday, October 6) at 9:15
a.m. at the Delta St. John�s and Conference Centre.
The conference will attract delegates
from across the globe who will examine current and
future projects and developments planned for the Arctic
region. Knowledge and discussion will be shared
concerning such issues as Arctic shipping, examination
of emergency preparedness, and requirements for
commercial operations and management of major projects
and transportation.
