The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, will speak at an information session entitled Protecting Your Product and Technology tomorrow (Tuesday, March 31) at 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn in St. John�s.

Hosted by the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, the session will cover topics such as the various types of intellectual property protection that range from trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights, along with the rights of businesses with or without intellectual property protection, the importance of branding, and government support tools.
