The Honourable Shawn Skinner, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development (INTRD), will speak at the Manufacturing Insights Workshop tomorrow (Wednesday, February 25) at 12:00 noon. The workshop is in the Newfoundland Room at the Mount Peyton Hotel in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Facilitated by INTRD, in co-operation with the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Business Service Network and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, the workshop provides small-scale manufacturers with knowledge of available financial and non-financial support services to help grow their operations. The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m., and includes a tour of Hi-Point Industries, a manufacturer and exporter of peat absorbents to 25 countries.
