Media Advisory: Minister to Release
First Progress Report on
the Province�s Poverty Reduction Strategy
The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Human
Resources, Labour and Employment and lead Minister for
the Poverty Reduction Strategy, will release the first
Progress Report on the Government of Newfoundland and
Labrador�s Poverty Reduction Strategy on Monday,
December 14, at 10:00 a.m.
Minister Sullivan will be joined by John Rook, Chair
of the National Council on Welfare, an advisory body on
matters of concern to low-income Canadians, and Gail
Thornhill, Director of Supportive Housing for Stella
Burry Community Services. The event will be held at
Buckmaster Circle Community Center, 129 Buckmaster
Circle, St. John�s.
