Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Citizenship Ceremony

The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and Minister Responsible for Immigration and Multiculturalism, will address new Canadians and guests participating in a citizenship ceremony on Monday, November 16, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John�s City Hall in the E.B. Foran Room.

Citizenship ceremonies are conducted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The ceremony represents the final step in becoming a Canadian citizen. During the citizenship ceremony, immigrants take the oath of citizenship and receive their citizenship certificate.
