to Attend
Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Luncheon
Keith Hutchings, Parliamentary
Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources, Labour and
Employment, will address attendees at a luncheon hosted
by Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow
(Thursday, November 5). The luncheon will take place at
noon at the College of the North Atlantic campus on
Prince Phillip Drive in St. John�s.
Skills Canada was founded in 1989 as a
national, not-for-profit organization that works with
employers, educators, labour groups and governments to
promote skilled trades and technology careers among
Canadian youth. The organization offers experiential
learning opportunities including skilled trades and
technology competitions for hundreds of thousands of
young Canadians through regional,
provincial/territorial, national and international
events, as well as skilled trades awareness programs.
Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador has been
offering events in this province since 1998.
