Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Attend
Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Luncheon

Keith Hutchings, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will address attendees at a luncheon hosted by Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow (Thursday, November 5). The luncheon will take place at noon at the College of the North Atlantic campus on Prince Phillip Drive in St. Johns.

Skills Canada was founded in 1989 as a national, not-for-profit organization that works with employers, educators, labour groups and governments to promote skilled trades and technology careers among Canadian youth. The organization offers experiential learning opportunities including skilled trades and technology competitions for hundreds of thousands of young Canadians through regional, provincial/territorial, national and international events, as well as skilled trades awareness programs. Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador has been offering events in this province since 1998.
