The Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, will participate in a flag raising ceremony with the Duke of Edinburgh�s Award organization on the front steps of Confederation Building in St. John�s tomorrow (Friday, October 9) at 9:30 a.m.

The Duke of Edinburgh�s Award is an international program operating in over 120 countries with the intention of equipping young people with the skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world. Through the presentation of Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, it recognizes the efforts of young people to become well-rounded, responsible citizens. The flag raising ceremony is part of the organization�s Award Week public awareness campaign.
