The Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie
Launches its New Website

The Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie is proud to announce that its new website is live for the 14th meeting of ministers responsible for the Canadian Francophonie, which is being held in Vancouver, September 23-24.

Accessible and user-friendly, the site promotes the Canadian Francophonie and provides information to the general publicparticularly Francophones and francophileson the Conference, its initiatives and the ministers who are members.

In addition to featuring a section that introduces the Conference, the site has a section on the Canadian Francophonie, where visitors will find a map of the Canadian Francophonie that contains a statistical profile for each province and territory.

The new website also allows French-speaking Canadians to contact the Conference minister responsible for the Canadian Francophonie who represents their province or territory. Complete contact information for each member minister of the Conference may be found under the Ministers section.

The Conferences section features clear and precise information on the key issues and projects that were discussed at the annual meetings held since 1994.

Finally, it is now possible to consult and download documents published by the Conference; simply go to the Publications section.

We invite you to visit the website for the Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie at www.cmfc-mccf.ca. A wealth of information awaits you!

The Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie was created in 1994 and includes the federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for the Canadian Francophonie. The ministers meet annually to deal with various issues related to the Canadian Francophonie, to provide direction for intergovernmental cooperation and to perform a unifying role in support of the Canadian Francophonie.
